Traditional significance

In tradition, 10 Mukhi Rudraksha is associated with Lord Vishnu. These associations come from scripture and devotional practice and are shared here as traditional beliefs. Rudraksha is not a substitute for medical care and is not claimed to cure illness or guarantee outcomes.

Characteristics

A 10 Mukhi bead shows 10 natural lines (mukh) running from top to bottom. In Nepali form it is less common; Indonesian (Java) versions are smaller and lighter.

Wearing and care

Commonly worn on red or black thread or set in silver or gold. Keep dry, away from soap and perfume, and wipe gently with a soft cloth. Follow the guidance of your family or teacher on how and when to wear it.
