Characteristics

A 9 Mukhi bead shows 9 natural lines (mukh) running from top to bottom. In Nepali form it is less common; Indonesian (Java) versions are smaller and lighter.

Wearing and care

Commonly worn on red or black thread or set in silver or gold. Keep dry, away from soap and perfume, and wipe gently with a soft cloth. Follow the guidance of your family or teacher on how and when to wear it.
